Our Objectives

What makes Ironbark great

We advise and educate Aboriginal people residing in the Darwin/Daly Region in relation to support services available and facilitate advocacy on their behalf.

Support Aboriginal communities to become self-managing.

Work with communities to improve social cohesion and advance ongoing community growth and development.

Provide cultural awareness and employment placement services to employers of Aboriginal people residing within the Region.

Create a representative and consultative forum for Aboriginal people residing in the Darwin/Daly Region.

Provides and promote education, training, employment and business creation opportunities.

Support the maintenance and protection of Aboriginal culture and tradition.
